Located at the birthplace of the company, Nara Campus functions as an important development and production site of DMG MORI, comprising of Nara Plant and the System Solution Plant.  Nara Plant is responsible for the production of small-sized turning and machining centers and provides original designs for machines and automation systems.

The System Solution Plant has the capacity for up to 4 production line systems at the same time, each with a length of 80 meters. The plant enables DMG MORI to realize complete automation systems for customers under one roof, covering all phases of assembly, testing and shipment. And also, Nara is the production site of Saki Corporation, one of our group companies.

Since its foundation in 1994, Saki Corporation has been a pioneering manufacturer of automatic optical inspection systems using 2D, 3D, and X-ray CT images for the electronic component mounting process. Its high-definition, high-speed and high-accuracy inspection systems are tailored to the rapid technological changes of the electronic component industry. Saki Corporation is realizing machine-to-machine collaboration with major electronic component makers around the world and continuously develops advanced total solutions for its customers.
