Under the motto "Experience technology where it is created", DMG MORI is organizing Technology Fridays at its Pfronten and Wernau locations in the coming months. Using sample products, the exclusive events will focus on various key topics, including gear cutting, automation and accuracy. In a small circle of 20 to 30 people, visitors will be able to obtain optimum information on innovative applications. The supporting program of the Technology Fridays includes presentations by DMG MORI experts and partners of the machine tool manufacturer, live demonstrations and workshops in the showroom as well as discussion rounds. A lunch and individual discussions round off the Technology Fridays. A plant tour is also available in Pfronten.

The Technology Fridays kicked off successfully at the Wernau site on March 18, 2022, followed a week later by the Pfronten production site. At both locations, the focus will be on dovetailing. While the exclusive DMG MORI technology cycles gearSKIVING and gearBROACHING on the NTX 2500 turning-milling center were the focus in Wernau, the experts in Pfronten will devote themselves to gearSKIVING and gearMILL on 5-axis machining centers. Both events will also be accompanied by the tool manufacturer Paul Horn. DMG MORI has been cooperating with this DMQP partner for many years, which has also resulted in numerous solutions in the field of gear cutting. On April 1, 2022, the focus in Wernau will be on burr-free machining of bores and chamfers in free-form surfaces. An NTX 1000 will be used to clearly demonstrate how the post-machining effort and thus the overall throughput time can be noticeably reduced.

Variety of topics until June 2022

On the other Technology Fridays, DMG MORI will be demonstrating, among other things, automated single-part production with the PH Cell (April 8, 2022), innovative measurement in the manufacturing process using touch probes, L-probes and measuring bridges (April 22, 2022) and optimization of the µ with the aid of the DMG MORI VCS Complete technology cycle (June 24, 2022) – all of which will be topics in Pfronten. Other topics in Wernau include the machining of components for electro mobility on an NHX 5000 with MAPAL tools (06.05.2022) and the area of Clamping & Handling with clamping technology from Hainbuch and Schunk (10.06.2022).

DMG MORI provides more information on the dates and main topics of the Technology Fridays on its website at dmgmori.com/technology-fridays-pfronten and dmgmori.com/technology-fridays-wernau. Due to the limited number of participants, the machine tool manufacturer recommends early registration there for the desired Technology Fridays.
